As a playful testament to the author’s love of nature, he searched the park to discover the 26 capital letters and 10 numerals formed by the branches and limbs of the trees.

Although entertaining and unique, these are simply an adjunct to this work as a traditional alphabet book.

These images will amuse and intrigue many people but will be difficult for very young children to identify as letters. Adult visitors to the park might find themselves looking at trees in a new way, but they should probably not expect toddlers to grasp the symbols as letters or numbers.
